Well, it's springtime - no, wait, it's still winter, um...Spring??? I guess it's coming. Things are greening up and the snow is gone.
Seriously, it's so nice to see the green grass. Seems like I can't keep up with it. Then, there's a problem with a belt, then a blade. Don't even get me started on the edger/trimmer/weed eater.
I've been out driving. Don hitched up Lindy and Don, Isaac and I drover over to the horse park. We were there for several hours. It is so nice to get away for awhile. That's such a nice park. You forget where you are or even when - it could be 100 years ago. No traffic - just birds and quiet.
Anybody like babies? When all is said and done, we'll have 12 on the ground. They are so cute. Take a look at the "Recent Photos" section. One of our boarders, Lauren, has been busy taking candid shots of the horses and the babies!!! Too cute. Thanks a bunch, Lauren - you're a great photographer!!
We'll be having a cookout soon. I haven't picked a date. Seems like every weekend there's something going on. Of course, it can't be on a sale weekend ;).
I hope you all get a chance to come out and enjoy the farm and see how it's getting so beautiful again. We're working on putting up new fencing (if we could get the fence post pounder to cooperate) and the pillar in the driveway was removed so that Don can get his hay equipment through.
Don't forget - if you refer a boarder - there is a reward. See Don for details.
Okay - Got to get busy while there is still daylight.
