Well, Christmas is almost here! I hope everyone is ready to welcome the Christ child. It's been a busy year for us. It was hard to get hay in - so much rain but at least there was rain to be had. It wasn't the case a few years back. Our barns are full of hay and we're ready for winter.
We've moved the horses around. Mares out back and geldings up front. Don has been working hard with 5 of the thoroughbreds to get them ready for the track. Tango's babies will be yearlings and we'll start working with them in the spring. I believe they're all for sale. Talk to Don if you're interested in a Tango baby. There will be more on the ground in the spring.
My driving mare, Lindy, had her baby. We've called him Jack. I'm hoping he'll be weaned soon so that I can start driving again. He's a little "feisty." I was hoping to get a sleigh to drive this winter but so far it's been so mild there hasn't been any snow.
